The next patch for World of Warcraft, which brings, among other things, flying, finally has a fixed date.
Flying allowed starting September 2
The World of Warcraft patch number 6.2.2 will be released on September 2. While this is not a major content patch, it brings some features that have been eagerly awaited by the community. Those who have made the effort and completed the corresponding meta-achievement will finally be able to fly in Draenor.
Furthermore, the patch also brings the Mercenary Mode, which allows players from the numerically superior faction to temporarily join the enemy to facilitate more PvP matches. The legendary quest line will also be simplified, at least in the initial steps, to give newcomers a chance to complete the ring.
Lastly, it is quite obvious that they are trying to make the Horde a little more attractive for PvP players, as the racial abilities of all Horde races will be improved. The ability of the Blood Elves will now silence all enemies for 3 seconds (previously 2), and the stun duration of the Tauren ability is increased while the cooldowns are reduced.
Later impacts of the patch will affect the upcoming events, such as The Headless Horseman and The Feast of Winter Veil – but it will still be several months before we feel the effects.
If you haven’t completed the achievement for flight permission yet, don’t worry! There is still plenty of time to complete the necessary achievements.
