The Nightfall Scenario – Tasks, Rewards, Glory Levels
You begin your journey when you speak with the recruiter of the Radiance of Flame in Dornogal near the map table. From there, you head to Heilsturz to find Mylton Wildbraun. He is located in the camp of the Radiance of Flame at Morgaens Tears, southwest of Mereldar near the Honor Grounds.
When you talk to Mylton, he offers you various quests, including daily quests that can be completed around Heilsturz and Azj’Kahet, as well as a weekly quest for the Nightfall scenario. This improves your reputation with the Radiance of Flame and grants you resonance crystals to access and acquire new rewards.
Nightfall Scenario – How It Works
Every hour, players are invited to participate in the Nightfall scenario. The scenario consists of several phases that you can participate in until you defeat the Champion of the Sureki at the end. You can check in your quest log (L) in the “Events” tab for when the next scenario starts if you are unsure. You can also hover over the Nightfall symbol on the map to display a countdown to the next round of the event.
By participating during the scenario, you can earn additional rewards. The progress indicator “Service Reward” at the top of the screen tracks and displays your earned rewards. The more you participate, the higher the reward.
You can also complete the weekly quest “The Flame Burns Forever” to earn Valor Stones, Carved Lorenhall Emblems, and a Bag of Radiant Service. The bag contains additional Valor Stones, Resonance Crystals, and a Service Badge of the Radiance of Flame that you can trade with the merchants in Morgaens Tears.

Mylton Wildbraun offers you various additional incursion quests that guide you through Heilsturz and Azj’Kahet. In doing so, you support the defense of the Radiance of Flame to repel the invading Sureki. On your way through the various activities, you also gain powerful buffs that help you in the fight against the mighty forces unleashed by the nerubian invaders.
During your adventures in Heilsturz and Azj’Kahet, you can gain additional buffs that support you in the outskirts of the zones so that you are prepared for the conflict with the Sureki. For the Holy Alchemist, you might “test” the elixir Liquid Divination or invoke the Protection of the Holy Flame.
- Liquid Divination: While you are in the End of the Arathi, your healing, damage, and health will be increased by 30% each.
- Protection of the Holy Flame: While you are in Khaz Algar, you have a high chance of burning the enemy with righteous fire when you deal damage, adding additional radiant damage while you take less damage.
Glory with the Radiance of Flame
As you rise through the glory levels with the Radiance of Flame, you will gain access to a tabard that visually adapts (four variations) as well as pets, toys, a mount, titles, and a new color variant for the Deep Explorer’s Airship.
Rewards for Glory Level 1:
- The Radiance of Flame: You have been recruited! Speak with Raen Morgenkavalier to receive the Tabard of the Radiant Recruit. You will also gain the Protection of the Holy Flame while you are in Khaz Algar.

- Toy: Banner of the Radiance of Flame: You can speak with Lars Bronschmelz to purchase the Banner of the Radiance of Flame.

- Carved Lorenhall Emblems: Speak with Lars Bronschmelz at Morgaens Tears to receive a bag of carved Lorenhall emblems.

- Driving Away the Darkness: You have been promoted! Speak with Raen Morgenkavalier to receive the Tabard of the Radiant Unyielding. Your Protection of the Holy Flame has also been strengthened.

- Encouraged by the Holy Flame: You have been promoted! Speak with Raen Morgenkavalier to receive the Tabard of the Holy Templar. Your Protection of the Holy Flame has also been strengthened.

There are also two new armor set variations that you can collect as part of the Heilsturz equipment and view in your collection.
Additional color variations of this armor set can be obtained through world loot, depths, and equipment from The War Within Season 1.
The armor sets and weapons of the Radiance of Flame can be purchased for Service Badges of the Radiance of Flame that you earn in the Nightfall scenario. The Nightfall Ornat can be collected as dropped loot and quest rewards. Each armor set is available for the armor types cloth, leather, mail, and plate.
