Patch 10.1.5 of World of Warcraft has been launched. We reveal what new tasks there are to do and what you should keep an eye out for.
The latest update for World of Warcraft is live. The Patch 10.1.5 Rifts in Time brings a lot of small, new content that will especially please collectors. But everyone else is likely to enjoy the new content for at least a few evenings.
Visit the Mega Dungeon: Twilight of the Eternals
The new Mega Dungeon continues the story of the Bronze and Eternal Dragonflight. You set out to help Chromie stop her evil variant “Morchie” from allowing Nozdormu to become Murozond.
In total, there are 8 bosses waiting for you with new loot and some tough achievements. At first, the dungeon is only available on the “Mythic” difficulty – but its difficulty is more akin to a medium “Mythic+” dungeon.
The pre-quest for the dungeon starts in Valdrakken. However, it is not necessary, you can enter the dungeon without it.
Visit Time Rifts and farm plenty of rewards
Every hour on the hour, a small event starts in Tyrhold (Thaldraszus). A new time rift opens up, and you must complete various tasks to gain reputation and a new currency. At the end of each rift, a big boss awaits, for which you need multiple players.
There are countless rewards, including mounts, pets, and plenty of transmogs. Twinks can also equip themselves solidly here, as there is gear with item level 402+.
Play a Enhancement Caller (or force your friends to)
Callers have received a new specialization! They can now become “Enhancers”. They count as damage dealers, even if their actual DPS is not that high. However, they provide massive buffs to other players in the group and significantly improve them.
So don’t let the low DPS values of an Enhancement Caller mislead you into underestimating them; instead, pay attention to how much your stats increase due to their presence.
What else is in the patch? Aside from the larger features mentioned above, there are numerous little things and secrets that have also gone live and are waiting to be discovered:
- A new quest line lets you raise baby dragons and later keep them as pets.
- Warlocks can experience a new quest line with optical unlocks.
- All races (except Dracthyr) can now become warlocks.
- You can unlock the “old” Scholomance to collect transmogs there.
- Naxxramas has a new secret where you can obtain the Tier 3 set.
- Mages have been massively revamped and received new talents.
Many items can now be upgraded to level 447, so you can also obtain the best loot from “Mythic+”.
However, the patch also brought a few bugs – someone might “accidentally” delete their long-time main character.
