With Patch 8.1, farming reputation in World of Warcraft is worthwhile again. The Paragon rewards come with plenty of toys.
The Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance brings a large amount of new content to World of Warcraft. One of them is the return of the Paragon rewards, where players need to farm reputation again.
What are Paragon rewards? Those who have a faction from Battle for Azeroth at “Exalted” reputation level can collect even more reputation with Patch 8.1, such as through world quests, emissary quests, or table missions. For every 10,000 reputation points, there is an additional reward chest. This chest can contain all sorts of useful items.
What Paragon rewards are there? Primarily, there are a small number of toys and pets from various Paragon chests, but there are also specific recipes for inscriptionists.
Paragon rewards for both factions
Rewards of the Champions of Azeroth
- Azerite Rocket Flare (toy): A firework that shoots unstable Azerite into the sky.
Rewards of the Tortollan Seekers
- Bowl of Glowing Pufferfish (toy): A bowl of glowing pufferfish that can be placed on the ground.
- Kojo’s Master Set (toy): This allows you to play an extended version of the memory quest.
Paragon rewards of the Horde
Rewards of the Zandalari Empire
- Warbeast Kraal Food Bell (toy): Summons a warbeast that devours a fallen ally.
Rewards of Talanji’s Expedition
- For the Blood God! (toy): You sacrifice your blood to the Blood God and will be transformed into a Blood Troll for 15 minutes.
- Blood-Red Batling (battle pet)
Rewards of the Voldunai
- Goldmaker’s Breakfast Buffet (toy): You set up a large buffet that is “worthy of a king”.
- Words of Akunda (toy): You accept the gift of Akunda (presumably you regain the “Akunda” title).
- Meerah’s Jukebox (toy): A music box that plays Meerah’s greatest hit.
Rewards of the Oathbound
- Supporting War Banner (toy): You set up a banner under which allies gather.
- Recipe: Contract: The Oathbound: A new recipe for inscriptionists. This allows you to create a contract for the Oathbound. Characters with the contract receive bonus reputation with the Oathbound.

Rewards of the Pride of the Sea Admiralty
- Music Box of the Pride of the Sea (toy): Sets up a music box that plays the song “Daughter of the Sea”.
- Albatross Chick (battle pet)
Rewards of the Gluttonous Order
- Enchanted Tea Set (toy): You set up an enchanted tea set for your friends.
- Cobalt Blue Raven (battle pet)
Rewards of the Stormwatch
- Recipe: Glyph of the Stormwatch: A recipe for inscriptionists that allows them to create a glyph for mages. The water elemental then resembles the elementals used by the Tidesages.
- Purple Abyssal Eel (battle pet)
Rewards of the 7th Legion
- Supporting War Banner (toy): You set up a banner under which allies gather.
- Recipe: Contract: 7th Legion: A new recipe for inscriptionists. This allows you to create a contract for the 7th Legion. Characters with the contract receive bonus reputation with the 7th Legion.
Why are there no mounts? After Legion, Blizzard decided not to put mounts in the Paragon chests. This led to frustration among many players who felt compelled to complete every single world quest over several months to finally get their mount. Pets, recipes, and toys seemed to be viewed differently.
