Last night, a new alpha version of the upcoming expansion Battle for Azeroth was rolled out. Dataminers found plenty of news in the game data of the latest update for World of Warcraft, especially regarding the allied races that are still pending.
The Mag’har Orcs are being recruited for the Horde in Battle for Azeroth. This includes all Orc clans present on the Draenor of the alternate timeline (Warlords of Draenor) that have likely lived a dull existence since the end of the Iron Horde.
Throughout the expansion, players will have the opportunity to recruit these Orcs for the Horde. Compared to the “regular” Orcs, they have unique skin colors, special war paint, and a range of exclusive customization options.

The playable classes of the Mag’har
It is now also known which classes the Mag’har can choose. If there are no further changes, Mag’har Orcs will have the following classes available:
- Warrior
- Hunter
- Mage
- Monk
- Priest
- Rogue
- Shaman
The highlight here is that Mag’har Orcs can become Priests. This has not been possible for “regular” Orcs so far, as the belief simply was not present, and virtues such as “patience and discipline” likely did not fit Orcs in a blood rage.
Also interesting is that the Mag’har cannot become Warlocks. Apparently, the definition of the “Uncorrupted” is such that none of them ever sought help from the Nether.
