Some believe that it can’t drop in World of Warcraft. But now many players will probably receive the “Great Love Rocket.”
In World of Warcraft there are a lot of mounts that are a bit harder to obtain – especially those with a low drop chance can be frustrating. Even more so when this chance is limited to just a few days a year.
One such mount is the “Heartbreaker X-45,” known to many as even better than the “Great Love Rocket.” After years of endless farming, Blizzard will finally grant redemption in a few days.
What kind of mount is this? The Heartbreaker X-45 is one of the most desired mounts in general, as it can only be earned during the “Love is in the Air” event. It is one of the few rocket mounts in the game and therefore extremely sought after. To have a chance at it, you must defeat the event boss, which can simply be selected via the dungeon finder. The fight itself is extremely simple and over within a few seconds.
What is Blizzard changing? In 2023, everything is supposed to be different, and significantly more players will finally be able to obtain the rocket. Because the first “Heart-shaped Box” that you obtain per day on your account – no matter which character – will now have a “drastically increased chance” of containing the coveted rocket.
All boxes after the first one per day will have the old, very low chance.
The intention behind this is quite obvious: Blizzard wants to ensure that players no longer feel “forced” to defeat the event boss with as many characters as possible. From now on, it will be enough to visit the boss once a day to have the greatest chance of obtaining the rocket.
How high the “drastically increased chance” actually is cannot be said yet and will probably only be determined with the start of the event next week.
When will you be able to get the rocket? The “Love is in the Air” event takes place in World of Warcraft from February 6th to February 19th – exactly 2 weeks. During this time, you can try to obtain the Heartbreaker X-45 if you participate in the event dungeon. The fight only lasts a few seconds and thanks to the “significantly increased drop chance,” you should hopefully be able to call the rocket your own by the end of the event.
