October brings numerous in-game events to World of Warcraft, with celebrations taking place almost throughout the month!
From One Party to the Next!
For many years, World of Warcraft has brought new celebrations into the game world. While there was almost only the Lunar Festival in January about a decade ago, almost every month now has one or even several celebrations. There is particularly a lot to do in October. It continues until October 6th with the Brewfest, but is almost immediately accompanied by the Darkmoon Faire starting on October 4th.
After the wild carousel rides and petting zoo visits, players can take a breather for a week before the Hallow’s End starts on October 18th – the WoW counterpart to Halloween lasts until the end of the month.
As in previous years, the Headless Horseman will again attack the starter areas of the various races and set everything ablaze, then hide in the Scarlet Monastery and wait for player hordes trying to steal his mount. In addition to the rewards from previous years, there are new costumes, pets, and even a small new quest line, the content of which we still have to wait for (at least it has already been mined from the game data).
The Timewalking event is currently ongoing, where players can visit the old instances of The Burning Crusade. Those who want to equip their twinks quickly should fire up the group finder a few times.
