The race for the World First by N’Zoth in WoW is over. The winner this time is Complexity Limit, the professional guild from the USA.
This time, the race for the World First Kill in World of Warcraft lasted just over a week. About an hour ago, a decision was made, as the US guild Limit was able to prevail and finally strip N’Zoth of his last hit points. Therefore, the victory goes to Limit.
More than 250 attempts: In total, Limit needed 274 attempts to defeat N’Zoth the Corruptor, the hardest boss, thus fully clearing the raid Ny’alotha. Just yesterday, they managed to reduce N’Zoth to 8% of his health. Today the kill was achieved, bringing N’Zoth down to 2% remaining health – this threshold had to be reached for the fight to be considered finished and for the cinematic to begin.
The kill attempt begins at 05:54:10.
Complexity Limit obtains the World First Kill on N’Zoth
This is what nerd screams sound like: As usual, a first kill comes with the obligatory “Nerd Scream” video, where the players scream with joy as they achieve success and finally defeat the Corruptor. You should turn your headset or speakers down a bit because the excitement is quite loud:
Many bugs plagued the race: Although Limit constantly led this race, it was marred by bugs and errors. There was a bug that incorrectly made N’Zoth immune at 25% of his health or spawned a portal that served no purpose. In the end, even Blizzard had to inform Limit that there was indeed no 2nd secret phase of the fight.
Where does Method stand? The European guild Method is still far from their kill. Currently, their best attempt is at 31.9% remaining health, so they are not even close to being in kill range.
In any case: Congratulations to Limit! A well-deserved victory.
This will also temporarily be the last “World First” race. The next one will follow only with Shadowlands and that will take many months, even though the beta might start soon.
