The latest transmog rewards in World of Warcraft are wild. Because from now on, you can be a “Magical Girl” – and it looks truly adorable.
The trading post has now been around for a year – and it seems Blizzard wants to celebrate this a bit. Because in February 2024, you can not only snag a ton of rather wacky transmog items, but also earn 500 extra trader currencies.
Oh – and by the way, there’s also a set that lets you easily pass as “Sailor Moon”.
What is available this month in the trading post? February is all about love – after all, Valentine’s Day is coming soon, along with the “Love is in the Air” event. The trading post seems to take this motto particularly seriously – because almost all rewards are either bright pink or feature a heart motif in some form, and even the battle pets are incredibly cute.
The highlight is definitely the transmog set “Robe of the Love Witch.” You get it by fully completing the travel journal in February – so completing enough of the tasks in the travel journal. Then you can simply loot the set from the chest found at the trading post in Orgrimmar or Stormwind.
The Robe of the Love Witch may not quite fit into World of Warcraft at first glance – the look resembles classic “Magical Girl” designs from the anime realm, like in Sailor Moon. This means lots of frills, short skirts with long stockings, and bright colors. Exactly what the Robe of the Love Witch offers.
Other colors of the set are already known from data mining, but it is still unclear how to obtain them.
What else is there? Aside from a hefty load of love, there are also other rewards that you shouldn’t miss. For instance, there is a toy for just 10 trader currencies, which allows you to transform your character into a wooden mannequin.
Mount collectors can secure the X-53 travel rocket – also for an unbeatable price of 100 trader currencies. This mount can carry a passenger and was previously available through the “Refer a Friend” system.
Because Blizzard apparently knows that this month is extremely attractive and offers many great rewards, there are a total of 500 additional trader currencies to earn in February 2024. This means you can accumulate 1,500 trader currencies (500 from your subscription, 1,000 that you can earn).
The perfect time to go on a shopping spree – or save the currencies for the future.
How long can you earn the rewards? As usual, the trading post’s offer is active for the entire month – until February 29th. After that, the offer changes, and new items become available. However, if your trader currencies are not enough for a specific item, you can “freeze” it and carry it over to the next month.
