YouTuber Rextroy has found a new one-hit combo for World of Warcraft. He combines 3 sets for maximum success.
No week passes without us reporting on the player Rextroy. He has become a mainstay in World of Warcraft and surprises us with a new video every few days. In these, he usually showcases really complex combos that lead to devastating results – such as the instant kill of a raid boss or killing other player characters without dismounting from his mount.
In his latest video, he is once again dealing one-hit kills to PvP victims – this time he doesn’t even need any corruption.
What did he do? In his latest video, Rextroy plays a warrior. As usual, he prepares a complicated combo in the background, then jumps into battle at the last moment with the correct buffs. A single attack is then enough to send unsuspecting horde players into the digital afterlife.
How does it work? The combo is quite complex and requires three different armor sets that must be swapped within a few seconds.
- The first set comes from the Tomb of Sargeras. Here, the 4-set bonus is important, as it ensures that Furious Slash increases the damage of the next Bloodthirst by 50% – this is stackable up to 500%.
- Then Rextroy switches to a set with the Azerite trait Gathering Storm. Blade Storm drastically increases the warrior’s strength for a few seconds.
- Afterwards, Rextroy switches to a set with a low item level (below 280), ensuring that the PvP scaling kicks in significantly.
- Meanwhile, the ability “Death Wish” is stacked multiple times.
- Finally, Rextroy uses the ability “Rampage” to trigger another buff.
All mentioned bonuses remain active even when the sets are swapped.
There are only a few seconds left to jump to an enemy and deal around 600,000 damage instantly. Only a few characters – like tanks – can survive such an attack.
As with almost all of Rextroy’s videos, it will probably only take a few days until Blizzard releases a small hotfix to make this combo no longer possible. The most likely scenario is that the developers will simply disable the set bonus from the old warrior set.
Especially, the PvP scaling has come under heavy scrutiny in recent weeks. Many players hope that Blizzard will improve it before the release of Shadowlands.
What do you think of Rextroy’s combos? Cool, creative ideas? Or clear exploits?
