You should start saving if you want a new, very cool mount in World of Warcraft: The War Within – because it’s going to be really expensive.
A new expansion in World of Warcraft means not only new areas, new story, and new features – but also lots of new collectible items. Mounts, in particular, have always held special significance for players and are considered prestige items – the rarer and more unique, the more popular these “mounts” typically are.
With the upcoming addon The War Within, you will have to dig deep into your pockets for one of these mounts. Because they want more than 3,000,000 Gold from you to use this exclusive item.
What kind of mount is it? The “Crowd Pummeler 2-30” is a new, craftable mount from WoW: The War Within. Engineers can build the mount – as long as they have progressed far enough in their profession and learned the recipe.
Aesthetically, the Crowd Pummeler resembles various Goblin shredder models or the golden mechs from Argus.
The Crowd Pummeler is classified as a “Skyriding Mount”, meaning it can be used as both a ground and flying mount or used for sky riding (the new name for “dragon riding” or “dynamic flying”).
Why is it so expensive? The costs of the Crowd Pummeler 2-30 consist largely of the prices you have to pay at the merchant to buy most of the materials. Because in classic Goblin fashion, he charges exorbitant prices for all the items needed to build the Crowd Pummeler – and there are quite a few, as you can see from the following list:
