With an army of blue bears, a player in WoW crushes everything. An exploit during a world quest makes this possible.
Even months after the release of WoW: Shadowlands, there are still a number of bugs and glitches in the Shadowlands that lead to funny or absurd situations. Especially world quests with “vehicles” can cause issues or unintended behavior. One of these quests has now allowed players to solo world bosses or defeat any enemy in a split second.
What kind of bug is this? The exploit is only possible during the world quest “Wrath of Aliothe” in Ardenweald. In this quest, players are asked by Aliothe to transform into their avatar to punish the nasty spriggans for their misdeeds.

In fact, this avatar of Aliothe is a vehicle. If one “exits” immediately after the transformation, the avatar remains beside the player and then functions as their pet, aiding them in combat.
If you leave the world quest area over the border and return, you can summon an avatar again and immediately exit. This can be repeated as often as you like. Thus, the army of bears keeps growing. There is no limit to this, although at some point the server will likely buckle under the load.
What is possible with this? Basically, it increases effectiveness when farming pretty much any creature in Ardenweald.
YouTuber Tosiko has demonstrated in a video what is theoretically possible with this. He has raised an army of 150 bears and went to the current world boss Oranamonos. You can see how the battle ends here:
After just about 8 seconds, the battle was over and Oranamonos was defeated. The old Tirnenn has probably never met its end this quickly.
Do the bears disappear again? Yes. Outside of Ardenweald, the bears dissolve immediately, as well as after any form of teleportation (like using a hearthstone). It is also not possible to enter the Heart of the Forest with the bears, which also makes them disappear. However, other than that, you can take them anywhere in Ardenweald, creating a large blue bear parade that would freeze the blood of PvP enemies just at the sight.
Should you exploit this? No, we strongly advise against it. The bug will likely be fixed by the next appearance of the world quest anyway; nevertheless, one should not make use of this exploit. It is obvious that a faulty game mechanic is being exploited here, and that is usually penalized by Blizzard with account sanctions – repeat offenders can even receive a ban for several months.
This thus belongs to the series of funny bugs that exist in Shadowlands but probably should not be exploited – like the bug where players could tame druids.
