Check out the new cinematic “Lost Honor” from World of Warcraft – Fresh from BlizzCon 2018
BlizzCon 2018 is in full swing and has some revelations for World of Warcraft. The highlight of the opening ceremony was, besides the announcements for World of Warcraft Classic, which we have in this article, a new cinematic. With this, Blizzard has now released the third CGI video for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth.
You can watch the video here:
What is shown in the cinematic? King Anduin pays a visit to the Stormwind dungeon and meets Saurfang there. The Orc was captured during the Siege of Lordaeron. Anduin and Saurfang discuss, as previously announced, about honor.
Anduin wants to know why Saurfang didn’t kill him back then, although he had the chance. Saurfang only replies that it is not what he wanted – he simply wants to have his “old Horde” back.
Saurfang wants Sylvanas’ end: The biggest “plot twist” in the cinematic is that Saurfang wishes for the Alliance to stop the Horde.
With this, Saurfang has more or less renounced his “honor” and obligation to the Horde and would rather have his Horde back, as it was before Sylvanas.
Anduin lets Saurfang go: Thanks to the cinematic, we now also know why Saurfang escaped in Patch 8.1 and can be found by players. Anduin himself let him go, thus enabling him to plan and execute a coup against Sylvanas.
The story surrounding Saurfang and his resistance seems to become one of the central points of the upcoming patches. It remains exciting to see how it continues in World of Warcraft.
More information from BlizzCon will be available throughout the night.
How do you like the new cinematic and the story developing around Anduin and Saurfang?
