The ban wave has left its mark on the World of Warcraft community and has produced plenty of funny images.
The last ban wave of World of Warcraft was probably one of the largest in the game’s history. Although most bans were lifted and converted into warnings afterward, almost every player probably knew someone who was affected by the penalties.
Accordingly, the topic of the ban waves was also prominently featured on social media, such as Reddit. There are numerous memes, comics, and comments about the incident.

However, there are also some users on Reddit who believe that a punishment of 180 days would still be far too lenient. When seeing such images and model adjustments, they consider a “life sentence – both in-game and in real life” appropriate.

A large part of the users on Reddit seems surprised (and shocked) at how many players apparently used such modifications.
