The secret item “Enlightened Hearthstone” was found after more than two years in World of Warcraft. We reveal how you can solve the puzzle.
Even though World of Warcraft Shadowlands did not necessarily go down in the collective memory of the players as the best expansion, the add-on had numerous puzzles and secrets. Some of them have not been solved to this day. There was a special hearthstone that had been shown in the list of toys for ages, but no one knew how to obtain it – until now.
Almost two years after the release of the area “Zereth Mortis”, the toy: “Enlightened Hearthstone” has now been found. We will tell you how to obtain it.
WoW Secret: Enlightened Hearthstone – Here’s How to Get It
What kind of item is this? The “Enlightened Hearthstone” is a toy that functions as your hearthstone. If you do not yet own a hearthstone toy, you will save an inventory slot. In addition, this hearthstone has a special animation. The character raises their arms to the sky to summon a small sphere while their character is enveloped in golden shimmering grids.
How do you obtain the toy? To solve the secret, you will need a total of 6 players – it’s a group puzzle. Each of these characters must possess the toy “Sphere of Enlightened Contemplation”. You can obtain the toy when you have a revered reputation with the faction “The Enlightened” and then receive the Paragon chest, which means filling the reputation bar one more time. You can then pick up the “Chest of the Enlightened Investigator” from the reputation vendor and, with a bit of luck, receive the toy.
If you played actively back during the time of Zereth Mortis, it’s very likely that you already possess this toy.
Next, head to Zereth Mortis and quite centrally to the middle of the map. There, a large sphere floats, surrounded by six pillars. Position one character on each of the pillars.
Once all characters are in position, they must simultaneously use their “Sphere of Enlightened Contemplation” – note that you can only use it while sitting.
If everything works correctly, there will be a zone-wide emote in the chat indicating that the scholar’s portal has opened.
Now quickly travel to the southern pillar. A large, whitish portal now floats there, which you just need to click – and the new hearthstone is yours!
Do all need to meet the requirements? No. As long as 6 characters are present that possess the toy and can summon the white portal, that is completely sufficient. Other players who do not actively participate in opening the portal can also loot it and thus obtain the “Enlightened Hearthstone”.
