A new Wednesday, a new load of bugs in World of Warcraft. This time, the time-walking dungeons are massively affected.
Update: In the meantime, a hotfix is live that has fixed many of the bugs listed below!
Original report: By now, it has become a ritual in World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth: When a new feature goes live with the maintenance on a Wednesday, the community finds some bugs and issues that trouble players. This week, the time-walking for Cataclysm dungeons begins, causing strange events.
Bosses are way too powerful: The bosses in the time-walking dungeons seem not to scale correctly. In the “End Time” dungeon, boss fights can last several minutes, and individual fights, like against Sylvanas, are almost impossible, as mechanics consume more than 90% of the tank’s health points. Many players are frustratingly giving up and waiting for Blizzard to fix the issues.
A few weeks ago, there was a bug with super loot.
Items scale incorrectly: Another annoying bug occurs when receiving loot. By default, bosses in the time-walking drop blue items with an item level of 325. However, when an item is randomly “warforged,” its item level should increase – but this doesn’t always happen. Several players report on Reddit that warforged items suddenly have a lower item level, as this screenshot of a warrior proves:

Since the issues have been known in America for several hours now, it should only take a few more hours for Blizzard to push a hotfix that resolves the issues.
Rewards are too poor: Additionally, the rewards that can be bought with time-warp badges are still at item level 180 – completely useless. This should be fixed soon as well.
Community finds humor in it: Even though many players are angry about the bugs, a large part of the community takes it with humor. It’s said, “Finally the beta continues” and “I’m so excited when the beta test is over and the game is released.”
