In the next expansion of World of Warcraft, there is a special feature for raid fans. Because you have more choices on how to spend the evening.
Raids, also known as raids, are part of the core DNA of World of Warcraft. In these instances for 10 to 30 players, you will usually find not only the best loot but also the greatest threats from Azeroth. Here, the notable villains that you have followed in the story are almost always defeated.
This will also be the case with Midnight. Instead of starting with just a single raid, the new expansion begins with 3 different ones. Depending on how much time you want to invest, there should be something for everyone.
What raids are there in WoW Midnight?
The Midnight expansion starts with 3 raids, about which very little is currently known:
- The Riftstorm: A raid with 6 bosses, considered to be the power base of Xal’atath.
- The Dream Spiral: A raid with a single boss. Here the veil between ancient dreams and reality is quite thin.
- March on Quel’danas: A raid with 2 bosses, taking place at the Sunwell Plateau, which is likely to have significant importance for the story.
In later patches, more raids are likely to be added. After all, a new raid is generally always part of a new season.
Starting an expansion with several raids is not entirely unusual, but it has been a while since this occurred. Particularly notorious was The Burning Crusade, which offered a lot at launch with the Eye of the Storm, the Serpent Shrine, and Gul’dan’s Hideout.
The expansion “Legion” also technically started with multiple raids, although the Night Fortress was only made accessible after a significant delay.
However, one should not forget that this is “only” 9 bosses. Although with Midnight you have a bit more choice about which raid you want to join, the actual number of bosses is only slightly increased. Nevertheless, this should ensure that you can also quickly complete a small raid that lasts 20 minutes. Perfect for those who do not want to spend an entire evening in a long raid.
