At gamescom 2025, the next expansion of World of Warcraft was presented. But before Midnight goes live at some point in the first half of 2025, a long beta test will start – as always. There, the developers collect feedback, and all beta participants can take a look at the latest content in advance.
This time, there is also the opportunity to participate in the Beta of Midnight. At least if you register correctly. We will reveal how that works.
Beta registration for World of Warcraft Midnight
How do you register for the Beta of Midnight? The registration for the Beta is extremely simple. Just follow the steps below:
- Visit the official World of Warcraft page for the Beta registration of Midnight.
- Make sure you are logged in with the correct Battle.net account (top right).
- Then click on the large button “Beta Registration”.
- On the next page, click on “Request Beta Access”.
Done!
Now, you just need a little patience and luck. The Beta of Midnight has not started yet, and there will likely be an Alpha test first. So, it may take several weeks or months before you are actually invited to the Beta.
Is there another way? Yes. If you don’t want to rely on luck and want guaranteed access to the upcoming Beta of Midnight, you can also “buy in” to the Beta. This is possible with the “Epic Edition” of Midnight. When you purchase this in advance, you will also gain access to the Beta of Midnight as soon as it becomes available. However, the Epic Edition costs a hefty 90 € but offers additional goodies and rewards that we presented in the overview of the Midnight editions.
