In World of Warcraft Dragonflight it is raining buffs and nerfs again. Monks and priests rejoice – but demon hunters shed tears.
In World of Warcraft Dragonflight, the 3rd season is already a few weeks old, but balance is still being tinkered with. Blizzard has analyzed the data from the past week and found several classes and specializations that are either underperforming significantly – or are too strong. Therefore, there is a new round of buffs and nerfs affecting many classes.
The most important points at a glance: The clear winners here include Windwalker monks and shadow priests, who will feel a significant boost in their damage. But summoners, mages, and warlocks also feel a tailwind.
In contrast, it looks bad for demon hunters and assassination rogues – here it is downhill and damage is throttled. But healing monks also receive a small nerf.

When does it go live? The changes will go live with the next maintenance, on Wednesday, December 20. Until then, you will have to endure your (underperforming) specialization or enjoy your overperforming specialization.
This will likely be the last balance change this year, as the development team is traditionally very thinly staffed over Christmas.
Whether the buffs will save the most unpopular class in WoW is rather unlikely.
