The World of Warcraft will feature several new areas with Patch 8.2. One of them is the gnome area Mechagon. Players have discovered an Easter egg from Overwatch in this new area on the PTR.
Who is in Mechagon? Players have found two unique NPCs while exploring Mechagon. These NPCs are the giant trogg Roadtrogg and the small gnome Junkbrat.
Roadtrogg wears a gas mask, leather armor, thick steel bracers, and wields a solid hook, while Junkbrat carries some sticks of dynamite on his chest, a grenade on his back, and a kind of grenade launcher in his hand.
The two characters are obviously a nod to Roadhog and Junkrat from Overwatch, Blizzard’s shooter.

Who are Roadhog and Junkrat? Mako “Roadhog” Rutledge and Jamison “Junkrat” Fawkes are two of the currently 30 playable heroes of Overwatch. Both are Australian outlaws whose story is closely tied to “Junkertown,” a city of wild ruffians and scrap collectors.
Roadhog is a rather stout fellow, characterized by a huge hook that he uses to pull enemies towards him and a gas mask. Junkrat, on the other hand, is a somewhat crazy explosive fanatic, throwing grenades, mines, and bombs around.
With Junkertown, they fit well into the new area Mechagon, because like Mechagon, Junkertown is also full of junk and technology.
What is Mechagon? Mechagon will be one of the new areas in the upcoming Patch 8.2 of World of Warcraft. It is meant to be a kind of farming area, similar to the Timeless Isle from Mists of Pandaria.
Mechagon is said to be full of secrets. At every corner, something is supposed to be discovered that isn’t obvious, like rare enemies or secret quests. One of these secrets seems to have already been discovered with the two heroes – an Overwatch Easter egg.
Otherwise, Mechagon will have plenty of grinding. This grind is something Cortyn is particularly looking forward to.
