With the right champion, the contents of patch 7.2 are a piece of cake. Have you got Meatball on the team?
With patch 7.2 “The Tomb of Sargeras” for World of Warcraft, many players spend a large part of their time on the Broken Shore. Apart from a few world quests, there is also a major elite enemy every few minutes, who has particularly many nether shards in his possession. Alone, the opponent with 60 million health points is difficult to defeat. However, this can be drastically simplified if you have the right champion!
Did you know that patch 7.1.5 already brought a new companion for all class halls? For this, you need to head to the arena in Orgrimmar or Stormwind (Deep Run), as soon as you have access. Access can be obtained from reward chests from dungeons or from Vrykul in the northeast of Stormheim.
You must win enough fights in the arena until you have defeated Meatball. When you return to the arena later, Meatball will be standing by and can be recruited as a companion for the Garrison in Draenor. Then return to your class hall.
After a while, a new mission for your followers will appear at the mission table: “No word about the arena”. You must complete this mission. It is important, however, that you increase the chance to 200%! Because the bonus loot from this mission is what matters. If you fail, you can try again afterwards.
This game cycles a few times and your followers have to complete a total of 5 missions around the arena and bring back the bonus loot each time. Once that is done, the quest “Meatball stew” starts – return to the arena and fetch your new champion.
What makes Meatball so special?
Meatball, or in English “Meatball”, is probably the most powerful companion one can wish for on the Broken Isles. He brings his abilities from the arena with him. Two abilities are particularly crucial here.
Energy orbs: Approximately every 10-15 seconds, Meatball causes an energy orb to appear through his melee attacks, which lands near the player. If the player runs through this orb, the damage dealt increases by 10% for 20 seconds. This effect is stackable up to 5 times! If Meatball is permanently engaged in battle, you can deal 50% more damage consistently, causing tough elite enemies to fall quickly!
Meatball is hungry: When Meatball hits an enemy and their health points fall between 20% and 25%, Meatball occasionally executes a finishing move. He then roars “MEATBALL IS HUNGRY!” and the corresponding enemy is stunned for 3 seconds. At the end of the stun, the enemy simply implodes and dies – no matter how many health points they had left! Against scaling rare elite enemies, Meatball can deal between 20-100 million damage, benefiting all players.
Meatball is definitely a worthwhile investment. Dive into the arena and get this elite gnoll, who would make even Hogger tremble.
