The latest update of the Alpha of WoW: Battle for Azeroth made two new races playable. Players can play Mag’har Orcs and Dark Iron Dwarves.
With Battle for Azeroth, additional allied races from World of Warcraft join the Alliance and the Horde. After Blizzard abandoned the original plans and did not make the Zandalari Trolls available with Patch 8.0, the Mag’har Orcs take this place as a playable race of the Horde. On the Alliance side, the Dark Iron Dwarves await.
Both races were unlocked in the latest version of the Alpha. Those who already have access to the Alpha of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth can now play them. With the playability of the races, the racial bonuses have also been released, as reported by Buffed.
The racial bonuses of the Dark Iron Dwarves
- Underground: In indoor areas, the character moves 4% faster.
- Fireblood: Removes all poison, disease, curse, magic, and bleeding effects, and increases the character’s primary attribute (Strength, Intelligence, or Agility) for 8 seconds by 231 plus 77 for each effect removed in this way.

- Mole Machine: Summons a Mole Machine in outdoor areas that burrows through the ground.
