The terrible sides of war are shown in the WoW machinima “Warbound” – you shouldn’t miss it!
The machinima scene of most MMORPGs is quite large. Especially in World of Warcraft, there are thousands of content creators who spend weeks and months developing a new film to finally present the finished work to the public.
One of these YouTubers is Pivotal, who uploaded the machinima “Warbound” a few days ago on his channel Pivotal Animations.
The plot of Warbound is quickly told: The Alliance goes to war once again, and the men are conscripted while the women are left mourning. The story follows one of these soldiers as he sets out with his comrades. In a distant land, they establish a new camp before ultimately going into battle against the Horde. What initially appears to be a dearly bought victory soon changes. And sometimes, the price of victory is just too high to pay…
The music used, “Canticle of Sacrafice,” will at least sound familiar to Alliance players. It is original music from World of Warcraft, played at the tomb of Varian Wrynn in Stormwind.
Cortyn says: I particularly like that Warbound manages to convey many emotions without any words. This is rarely achieved in today’s time. I definitely had tears in my eyes while watching “Warbound,” which is why I wanted to introduce you to the video.
What do you think of this machinima? Did Warbound touch you as well? Or does the short video leave you completely cold?
