WoW: Limit almost gets the World First Kill – then Blizzard deletes the boss

Limit almost secured the “World First” kill of N’Zoth in WoW. But then Blizzard intervened and simply deleted the boss.

In World of Warcraft, the race for the “World First” kill of N’Zoth, the final boss of Battle for Azeroth, is currently raging. Meanwhile, both the American professionals from Limit and the European players from Method have reached N’Zoth. Limit is currently at an advantage and almost snatched the First Kill – but then Blizzard intervened.

What happened? Limit is currently fighting against the final boss from the raid Ny’alotha N’Zoth. In the mythic mode, there is an additional secret phase. At 70% remaining health from N’Zoth, a portal to the Heart Chamber appears. The players should pass through the portal and must complete some tasks in the Heart Chamber, such as defeating another miniboss.

However, Limit quickly discovered that there was no compulsion to go through this portal – they could simply continue to deal damage to N’Zoth and ignore the portal for quite a while.

Limit brought N’Zoth down to 25% before he became immune.

Only after that did all players have to go through the portal and kill the miniboss before returning. But just as they got back to N’Zoth, this boss suddenly disappeared – he just dissolved. Blizzard had reset the boss.
