The latest raid from World of Warcraft is now also available in the raid finder. We will tell you which bosses need to be defeated.
After the normal and heroic mode of the Battle of Dazar’alor was released last week, the mythic difficulty and the raid finder (LFR) are now available – at least the first wing. Starting today, all players can sign up for the LFR and fight the first three bosses of the new WoW raid.
Mini-Guide for Champion of Light, Jadefire Master, and Grong
The first wing in the raid consists of three boss fights that follow each other in relatively quick succession. The fights are still quite simple (especially in LFR) and shouldn’t pose a long problem for players.
Champion of Light: Kill the adds while the boss has “Seal of Reckoning” cast on itself and avoid damaging it during this time. Once the boss is affected by “Seal of Vengeance”, you focus on him. Avoid the light waves and interrupt the adds when they are casting whenever possible.
Jadefire Master: Distribute the damage evenly between both opponents. The HP difference should never be too large, as one of the two bosses will become too powerful. As soon as the mage casts a Pyroblast, all players should attack the mage to eliminate its shield so that the spell can be interrupted. During the maze phase, you just need to navigate to the end of the corridor and attack the barrier there.
Grong the Returned: Grong is one of the easiest bosses. When Grong throws a tank at you, just step aside to avoid the damage. When the boss casts “Wild Roar”, stand next to another player to not be affected by fear. Emerging adds should be killed immediately. They leave behind a ball that you can pick up and apply to the boss to deal massive damage.
Release dates for wings 2 and 3: The other two wings will only be available in the coming weeks; they will be unlocked gradually:
- Wing 2: The Fall of the Empire – February 13, 2019
- Wing 3: Might of the Alliance – February 26, 2019
The coolest fight so far will not be seen for a few weeks – because the battle against Gelbin Mekkadrill is really funny.
