In World of Warcraft there are currently two buffs running that significantly accelerate the leveling of secondary characters (“Twinks”). How many additional chars will you level during this time?
What is the current buff situation? On March 20, Blizzard introduced the EXP buff “Winds of Wisdom”, which will be maintained until the pre-patch of Shadowlands. This increases the experience gained from all sources by 100%.
This led to being able to level a character to the maximum level in just 13 hours, although some prior planning was required.
This was primarily reflected in the activity of players. Many areas in WoW were more alive than they had been for a long time, as players apparently had not previously had the leisure to level their Twinks.
Since April 20, there is an additional double reputation through the buff “Impressive Influence” along with the EXP bonus, with which you will unlock allied races faster.
How long will the buff last? Actually, this buff was supposed to be turned off a month later, on April 20, and in its place, the buff for double reputation with all allied races was supposed to take over.
But after the EXP buff turned out to be extremely popular with players, Blizzard decided to keep it active until the release of the pre-patch for the Shadowlands expansion.
Cortyn estimates that we shouldn’t expect it before October 2020. So fans of Twinks now have plenty of time and the perfect conditions to level their characters.
