New week, new world boss, new loot. In WoW you can expect J’im and the dungeon event with great rewards.
A new week has begun – at least in the timekeeping of World of Warcraft. As every Wednesday, special events in Blizzard’s MMORPG rotate after the maintenance work on Wednesday. Thus, there is now a “new” world boss to defeat and a fresh event for the week, offering stylish rewards.
Most players should remember the withered J’im from Legion, as he has been active twice before. Back then, due to a bug, he appeared in two consecutive weeks and caused frustration and boredom among players. J’im is located on the Isle of the Watchers in the south of Azsuna. Normally, other players can now be permanently found in the group finder to quickly complete the associated world quest.
However, those who face J’im should not be surprised by this strange boss. Although he has very few hit points, he has a far-reaching aura that drastically reduces the effectiveness of all characters in the vicinity – in addition to reducing movement speed.
Moreover, the “Legion dungeon event” has also started again. Until next Wednesday, all final bosses in dungeons on all difficulties except Mythic+ will grant an additional item as a reward.
All players should stop by Archmage Timear in front of the Violet Citadel to pick up the weekly quest. This requires the player to complete a total of 4 dungeons on the “mythic” difficulty. As a reward, a loot box containing an item from the heroic version of the Emerald Nightmare awaits.
Apart from that, Archmage Lan’dalock (also in front of the citadel) also has new Seals of Broken Fate available, if one can muster enough Order resources or gold for them.
In other events, players will soon be able to farm mounts – starting from level 16!
