We reveal to you how to obtain the hidden artifact weapon skins of the Warlock in World of Warcraft.
In World of Warcraft: Legion, the artifact weapons not only have a variety of different designs but also a few hidden skins – each specialization has its own. We will tell you where to get the special skins for the three specializations of the Warlock.
Affliction – End of Fate
Warlocks with the “Affliction” specialization begin their quest in Azsuna and head straight to the demon-infested area of Faronaar. There, keep your eyes peeled for “Eredar Petitioners” (in the eastern part of the area), who usually participate in various rituals. Defeat as many of them as it takes until one drops the “Grimoire of the First Necrolord.” This item starts a quest chain that requires collecting 13 “Skulls of the Executed.” These can be found in the elite world quests of the Watchers (blue symbol with a golden dragon around it) – so the quest may take several days.
Once 13 skulls have been collected, the journey continues to the Deadwind Pass, where you will be led to an altar. Summon Sataiel and defeat her to extract the “Essence of the Executioner” from her corpse, which unlocks “End of Fate.”
Demonology – Thal’kiel’s Countenance
Demonology Warlocks also need to prepare for some farming, but first they must reach an artifact knowledge level of 4. After that, they need to hunt as many Eredar as possible. This can also be done particularly well in Faronaar, but generally, all Eredar on the Broken Isles are “valid.” Gradually, a total of 6 heads will be left as loot by the Eredar (gray items). The 7th head is the visage of the first Awakener, which unlocks “Thal’kiel’s Countenance.”
The drop chance for all the heads seems to have a very high element of randomness. Some Warlocks report that they collected all 7 skulls within a few minutes, while others have been trying for several days to complete the collection. So expect some fights with Eredar!
Destruction – Legion’s Horror
Destruction Warlocks have it the easiest. They simply need to choose the upgrade “Demonic Offering” (second row) in their class hall to be able to complete a “Ritual of Damnation” daily. The boss summoned there has a chance to drop “The Burning Jewel of Sargeras,” which in turn unlocks the skin Legion’s Horror.
