The Timewalking returns with WoW: Legion. First, we will visit the dungeons from “The Burning Crusade”.
For a few weeks now, the “warm-up phase” of World of Warcraft: Legion is over and weekly events are taking place again. Each week, a specific type of content is promoted with special rewards and a quest that offers artifact power, order resources, gold, or other rewards.
10 years into the past – Loot of today
Since this morning (October 12th), the Timewalking event “The Burning Crusade” is back. For one week, all players from level 70 can visit the old dungeons. The character stats are reduced so that the dungeon (at least a little bit) remains challenging. Those who are already level 110 will receive gear with item level 820 in the old dungeons – a great chance for alternative characters to quickly obtain solid starting gear to then tackle heroic and mythic dungeons.
The other rewards have not changed (so far). The Timeworn badges acquired during the dungeon can still be turned in at the same vendor. If you haven’t secured the various mounts yet, you now have another chance to collect more badges.
If you have already reached level 110, you should pick up the weekly quest from Archmage Timear in Dalaran in front of the Violet Hold. Those who complete 5 Timewalking dungeons will be rewarded with some artifact power, a Seal of Broken Fate, and a loot box that can contain items from the raid “Emerald Nightmare” (item level 850).
