Fans of LFR raids in WoW can continue playing today – the second wing of the Nightmare is open a week earlier than planned.
When Blizzard revealed the plans for the release of the first raid a few weeks ago, the plan seemed somewhat different from how it is now implemented. Fans of the LFR tool were actually supposed to have another week in the first wing of the Emerald Nightmare, facing only the first 3 bosses.
3 fresh bosses, one week early
Blizzard has now opened the second part of the Emerald Nightmare for LFR players – a week early. Therefore, everyone can now easily face the following 3 bosses:
- Ursoc
- The Dragons of Nightmare (Ysondre)
- Cenarius
The item level of the bosses is 835+ (meaning guaranteed 835 with a chance for an upgrade). Also, remember to pick up the seals from Archmage Lan’dalock before visiting Dalaran so you have a bonus roll on the loot for the bosses you want.
However, the last boss, Xavius, cannot be defeated yet. Access to the final boss of the Emerald Nightmare will be available on October 19, 2016 – this date has also been moved up by a week.
Cortyn says: Now that I’m “actively raiding” again, my heart bleeds a little when I look at the LFR. It’s sad how much the boss mechanics can simply be ignored and it takes away much of the appeal of the cool instance. Those who have the opportunity should look for a proper raid group – even if it’s just for one or two nights. In normal (or heroic) mode, the raid is a completely different experience.
