Took a wrong turn in the Nexus
Originally, the goblins with the big money bags came from Diablo 3, but for a short time they also invaded the Nexus of Heroes of the Storm. Apparently, the little gold collectors took a wrong exit and have now also gotten lost in Azeroth – at least in the beta version of World of Warcraft: Legion.
The player Bendak posted a screenshot on Twitter showing how he encountered one of the little rascals.
Unfortunately, since his character was only level 101, but the goblin had already reached level 110, the treasure goblin managed to escape through the portal. What exactly the goblins drop is still a mystery.
Whether it is gold or even the random legendaries is something that will likely only be clarified over the next few weeks. According to the symbol on the screen, it could be garrison resources – since these have no use in Legion anymore, it will probably just be a placeholder.
