The first content patch for WoW: Legion will be released in a few days. We tell you when Karazhan opens.
The current expansion of World of Warcraft was released almost 6 weeks ago, and many fans feared that there could be a similar content debacle as in the past with Warlords of Draenor. However, Blizzard is not letting anything slip and has now announced the release date of the first major patch.
Patch 7.1 “Return to Karazhan” will be released on October 26, 2016.
The content update mainly brings the new 5-player instance Karazhan, which has been completely revamped and awaits all players with many familiar, but also new encounters who want to tackle it in mythic mode.
In addition, a new “mini-raid” with 3 bosses comes, where first Odyn (a little) will be faced before Guarm and his owner Helya are attacked. This raid is the intermediate step between the Emerald Nightmare and the Night Fortress, allowing players to prepare a bit more for the latter. However, the raid will open some time after BlizzCon – as most of the team will be at the event and cannot fix mistakes as quickly as usual during this time.
Aside from that, the Suramar campaign will also be brought to a conclusion, and some new world quests will be added, as well as new crafting recipes for some professions.
Cortyn says: Especially for raid guilds that are currently struggling with the heroic mode of the Emerald Nightmare (*cough* mine *cough*), time is getting a bit tight. I even think for the first time in a long time that Blizzard is pushing out new content almost too quickly. But here it seems to follow the principle: Better too much than too little. I’m especially looking forward to the new alchemy recipes and the ability to convert Sargeras’ blood into useful resources – thus ending the endless farming of Fjarnskaggl.
