WoW gets fresh tasks: Raids, “Mythic+” dungeons and rated PvP start today!
The warm-up phase of World of Warcraft: Legion is over. Since today’s maintenance (09/21/2016), the first raid of Legion has opened its gates. New tasks are added in the difficult “Mythic+” dungeons as well as plenty of enemies in the rated battlegrounds.
Xavius lures from the nightmare
Players can now take on the Emerald Nightmare in normal and heroic difficulty starting today. A total of 7 bosses are waiting in the raid instance to be beaten by players, with Xavius being the final boss. The former night elf is now just a satyr of the nightmare and ripe for a proper beating.
Over time, the wings will also be unlocked in the “LFR” mode. We have a complete list of all raid openings here for you.
Additionally, starting today the keystones drop, with which the “Mythic+” dungeons can be tackled. These dungeons become harder each time but also offer better rewards depending on how far you manage to upgrade the respective keystone. If a dungeon visit fails, the keystone is reset. But don’t worry: There will still be a reward at the end of the week. In the first week, the maximum item level from the rewards is 850 – more is possible in the coming weeks.
PvP players can look forward to the start of the first PvP season of Legion. This now makes rated battlegrounds and arenas accessible, which lure with better rewards and more honor, allowing the new honor talents to be unlocked faster. At the same time, you can gain significantly more artifact power through rated battlegrounds than through the “normal” battlegrounds and arenas.
