The pre-patch for Legion finally has a date. We will tell you when the new era of World of Warcraft will begin.
Starting July 20, a taste of Legion begins
For many weeks and months, players and fan sites have speculated about when the big preparation patch for World of Warcraft: Legion will appear. Now Blizzard has announced a definite date and stated: The era of the Burning Legion begins on July 20, 2016.
After the server maintenance on that Wednesday, the new talents will be accessible to all players, along with a large part of the updated systems. However, the highlight for most will be the wardrobe, which allows players to collect skins for armor and weapons without having to store the items in their inventory or Void storage any longer. This means a lot of space in cluttered bags for veterans, so they can head to the Broken Isles with new collecting enthusiasm about 6 weeks later.
Players will have a few weeks to get used to the new systems before the invasions of the Burning Legion begin in August, which will be the introduction event for Legion. Finally, pre-orderers will be allowed to play the starting area of the new class “Demon Hunter” in advance, so they can level up to level 100 already and storm the Broken Isles on August 30 with everyone else.
A large part of the game data can be downloaded in advance, so you won’t have to redownload over 20 GB on July 20. You can make the relevant settings in the battle.net client.
