WoW gamers can now download the next patch to avoid long waiting times.
Almost 2 months after the release of World of Warcraft: Legion, the first major content update is here. Patch 7.1 “Return to Karazhan” not only brings the eponymous instance as a new 5-player Mythic dungeon, but also completes the Suramar campaign and includes a small mini-raid with 3 bosses, where you will confront Helya and her dog Guarm.
In addition, there are many new world quests and a handful of larger changes to class balance. Besides that, apprentices of various professions finally have a chance to convert their excess Blood of Sargeras into useful crafting materials.
If you don’t want to spend a long time on a large download this coming Wednesday, you should start your Battle.net client now and begin the early download of the next content update. If your client doesn’t do this automatically, go to “Settings”, then to “Installation & Updates” and then to the sub-item “Game Updates”. There you should check the box for “Perform latest updates and download data for future updates”. In case of doubt, you should also check the settings regarding bandwidth so you can complete the download at maximum speed.
With a size of nearly 2.6 GB, the download could take a while, especially with a poor internet connection, so it’s worth downloading early.
