The annual Pilgrim’s Bounty of World of Warcraft is back. In 2016, there are again many rewards.
Since yesterday (November 21st), the holiday event “Pilgrim’s Bounty” has started in World of Warcraft. Until November 28th – exactly one week long – players can earn various rewards. Pet and toy collectors should be particularly attentive, but fans of cool outfits can also show up at the festival.
Overall, it seems that there are no new features in 2016. Those who have already completed all achievements and rewards from previous years can safely ignore the festival. Only the 10% buff on reputation gained might be worth it.
You will receive this buff at the numerous tables with food that can be found in front of every major city. Just sit at a table and eat through the food until you have all the different food buffs. If other players are around, you can pass the food around, so you don’t have to check every chair individually at the table.
Turkey can, Wild Turkey and “On the wall on the lookout” – WoW celebrates Thanksgiving
As a conclusion for the meta achievement “On the wall, on the lookout”, which requires completing all other achievements of the event, the “Fat Turkey”, a flying battle pet, is rewarded. Together with the bush chicken, which can be found in the “Pilgrim’s Bounty” reward bags, that makes a total of 2 pets that can only be obtained during this week.
Those still working on the achievements for collecting toys should complete the daily quests each day, which involves a lot of cooking and traveling around. The Pilgrim’s Bounty bags that are given as rewards can contain numerous gimmicks, such as:
- Startled Bush Chicken (battle pet)
- Refined Pilgrim’s Hat (black transmog hat)
- Silvered Turkey Can (toy)
Apart from that, the bags can contain a lot of “junk”, like weak buff food or one-time variations of the turkey cans.
