The first major content patch of World of Warcraft: Legion is live. Karazhan and more await the players.
Even before the release of the current expansion Legion, content patch 7.1 “Return to Karazhan” was announced for World of Warcraft. Since this morning (October 26, 2016), the patch is active on the live servers. We have a small summary for you of the major changes.
The main attraction of the patch is the mythic 5-man instance Karazhan, which has been redesigned, featuring fresh story and a mix of familiar and new bosses. The scope of the instance is so large that it can easily stretch over two evenings. However, there is also cool loot in the instance, with the final boss carrying about item level 875.
Raiders are looking forward to the Trial of Valor, where there are 3 new bosses to defeat. After proving worthy against Odyn, it’s time to face Guarm and his mistress Helya. The raid is meant to be a stepping stone between the current Emerald Nightmare and the upcoming Night’s Watch.
Story enthusiasts (and mount collectors) can complete the Suramar campaign, which continues in weekly chapters. The fate of the Nightborne and other elven races will change dramatically throughout the campaign – with a stylish mount awaiting at the end.
Crafting professions can look forward to some new recipes. Especially alchemists can now create a new potion that requires Blood of Sargeras as a resource and is regarded as the new “non plus ultra” of raid potions. However, the Trial will only be accessible on November 9 – after BlizzCon.
Besides that, there are a number of adjustments to various classes to restore balance. Additionally, there are world quests, PvP revisions, and surely plenty of new secrets to uncover.
