World of Warcraft: Legion offers cool Class Halls instead of Garrisons, where all members of our class can meet and devise plans against the Legion. But what else is in the Class Halls?
Even if the Class Halls in the current WoW expansion are often referred to as “Garrison version of Legion,” they are something different. Instead of building a base completely from scratch, the Class Halls are already quite finished, and the upgrade options are rather limited. But what exactly are the Halls?
What are the Halls good for?
The Class Halls are the center of our war efforts against the Burning Legion, making them something like the “Normandy” spaceship for Commander Shepard in Mass Effect. There we meet not only important NPC members of our class but also other players. The Class Hall is the peaceful gathering point of all heroes of a class, regardless of Horde or Alliance.
But that’s not all, you can perform the following functions in the Class Hall:
- There are training opportunities everywhere where you can test your DPS, healing performance, or tank abilities.
- Through the Class Hall, you choose your next steps against the Legion and decide which area your journey will lead you to next.
- The Class Hall contains a forge where you can further develop your Artifact weapon with artifact power.
- Our class quests are usually started through the Class Hall, as well as the quests to acquire additional Artifact weapons.
- In the Class Hall, we can train followers (Champions) and send them on missions. The Champions can complete quests for us or fight alongside us.
- Special vendors offer unique goods for us.
- Small snippets of the backstory of Legion can be found everywhere.
- If you want to return to Dalaran, there is also a handy portal in the Class Hall.
- The Class Hall can actually be further upgraded. Using “Order Resources,” which we find repeatedly, we can further train our Champions or give the Hall some useful upgrades. This becomes especially interesting from level 110, but costs us a lot of Order Resources.
