The next raid Nighthold in WoW has a release date. We will tell you when it is time for Elisande.
Most raiders in World of Warcraft: Legion are still struggling with the heroic or even mythical Trial of Valor, but Blizzard is soon pushing out new content. Actually, the raid “Nighthold” has already been included in the game since day 1 of the expansion, but it has not been accessible so far.
Community Manager Ornyx announced in the official forum that the Nighthold will be opened on January 17, 2017. Due to different time zones, the release in Europe is shifted to January 18, 2017 – right after the maintenance on Wednesday.
For the LFR tool, the new raid will, as usual, be unlocked later and gradually, to give the “real” raiders a bit of lead time in WoW Legion. The mythical difficulty will also be released slightly delayed, and more details about that will be provided in the coming weeks.
The new Suramar quest line, which leads up to the opening of the Nighthold, will already conclude next week. The story surrounding the siege of the elven city and the final assault of all elven races on the Nighthold will reach its climax – but there is still some waiting before heading into the raid.
WoW: Legion – Trial of Valor will be nerfed
Apart from the announcement of the Nighthold, Ornyx also addressed the current raid “Trial of Valor” – this is hardly manageable by many groups in heroic and mythical difficulty. Especially with small groups of 10-12 people, there are often problems, as some mechanics require more players than are available. In the coming week, there will be some significant changes to the raid so that players can complete the Trial of Valor before the release of the Nighthold.
