Since yesterday (03.11.2016), Blizzard has been selling a likeness of the infamous demon hunter Illidan Stormrage, as he climbs rocks and gazes into the abyss with outstretched wings. This figure, with a height of nearly 60cm, is not simple “mass-produced goods,” but each figure has been hand-painted. This video shows how such a statue is created:

Anyone who wants to bring this fancy statue for “laid-back” 350$ dollars home will, however, have to be patient or expect to pay a multiple of the original price soon. Because just a few minutes after its introduction in the shop, the availability switched to “Out of Stock” – Sold Out.
Cortyn says: Objectively speaking (*cough*) such an Illidan would look great next to my Kerrigan or Darth Malgus. However, the price is quite steep and clearly targets the well-off fans who want to set up their own little Blizzard altar in their room. I am definitely a bit envious.
