Paladin
The healers must enter melee to be effective. They lose, like tanks, the Holy Power. Only the Retribution retains it.
Holy – only effective in melee
The Flame of Faith remains, but the rest is revised. The Holy Paladin is now supposed to stand near the targets they wish to heal. This is enabled by their mastery, which increases the healing of allies in the vicinity. Those who do not want that can use a new talent. This means that the distance to the target is no longer relevant to you but rather to your Flame of Faith.
You can also sacrifice your own health for the benefit of a group member with Light of the Martyr. Other talents grant you the ability to heal yourself. Furthermore, Holy Power has been removed; you will use mana again.
Protection – positioning is important
The Protection Paladin also loses Holy Power. Shield of the Righteous reduces your damage by a certain amount but only has 3 charges and a cooldown. It can be reduced by Judgements. Light of the Protector takes the place of Word of Glory and allows for self-healing. Consecrate increases your self-healing and the damage reduction from Shield of the Righteous as long as you stay in their area of effect.
Retribution – retains Holy Power
Holy Power remains, but other abilities change. The playstyle is still largely retained, you only need to get used to a few adjustments. Your Judgment grants a damage bonus to all abilities that consume Holy Power. This bonus is amplified by mastery. Exorcism is removed and replaced by Blade of Justice. This ability deals single target damage and grants 2 Holy Power. You can modify it through talents.
