In Legion, players celebrate the return of many mechanics that have long been banished from the game world in World of Warcraft. An important aspect is the shoulder enchantments that have found their way back to Azeroth. However, these do not increase your character’s striking power, but give a chance for additional loot.
The various shoulder enchantments of Legion
But which shoulder enchantment should one choose? It depends on the character’s professions and what is needed. The shoulder enchantments essentially ensure that players have access to the crafting materials of other professions. Tailors, for example, not only need materials from enchanting but also rely on leatherworker goods and herbs. Each shoulder enchantment ensures that additional bags are occasionally obtained when looting.
We have prepared a list of all shoulder enchantments along with their origins for you.
Blessing of the Gemseeker
With this enchantment, opponents occasionally drop bags containing gems. The yield varies each time, ranging from a few green gems to several blue ones.
Faction: Farondis’ Court (Respectful)
Location & NPC: Veridis Fallon (Azsuna)
Blessing of the Harvester
The Blessing of the Harvest provides you with various herbs from the Broken Isles and can also include various fish that are perfect for the cooking profession. Especially important is that the bag occasionally contains Felwort.
Faction: The Dreamweavers (Friendly)
Location & NPC: Sylvio Faldorn (Val’Sharah)
Blessing of the Butcher
In addition to stonehide leather and stormscale, the Blessing of the Butcher mainly brings various cooking materials in the form of different meats from Legion. Additional reagents like leyblood may also be included. Occasionally, it even rewards you with a Felhide.
Faction: The Highmountain Tribe (Friendly)
Location & NPC: Ransa Greyfeather (Thunder Totem – Highmountain)
Blessing of the Mana Seeker
The enchantment of the Nightborne provides large amounts of Ancient Mana, thus eliminating some farming time. Additionally, all enchanting materials can be contained in the bag, as well as numerous elixirs, potions, and flasks.
Faction: The Nightborne (Friendly)
Location & NPC: First Arcanist Thalyssra (Suramar)
Blessing of the Recycler
Primarily, Fel-slate and Leystone ore are obtained with the Blessing of the Recycler. Occasionally, green armor pieces or gray junk that promise a solid gain may also appear.
Faction: Valarjar (Respectful)
Location & NPC: Valdemar Stormseeker (Stormheim)
Blessing of the Blood Hunter
Those who constantly lack blood from Sargeras should obtain the enchantment from the Wardens. The “Loot of the Blood Hunter” contains up to 5 units of the blood that can be used in almost all professions.
Faction: The Wardens (Respectful)
Location & NPC: Marin Bladewing (Isle of Watchers – Azsuna)
Blessing of the Plunderer
The last blessing is not available from a faction but can be crafted by players with the enchanting profession. This blessing ensures that you occasionally loot additional units of Shal’dorei silk – usually between 10 and 40. However, the enchanters must first complete the quest “Friendship Terminated,” which they receive during their professional quests.
