World of Warcraft offers the ability to customize the interface in various ways. However, most settings cannot be adjusted through the normal options menu, but require additional addons. With over 4000 different UI extensions, it is easy to lose track of what really helps in World of Warcraft and what is just unnecessary clutter. We have three addons for you that have established themselves as “evergreens”.
Deadly Boss Mods
For today’s successful raider, “Deadly Boss Mods” is basically a must-have. Most raids only take people with this addon anyway, so resistance is futile. Deadly Boss Mods (or simply DBM) adds useful displays and countdowns for all instances and raids, making it easy to see when the boss will use their next ability and when you need to react.
Especially when boss tactics are not fully internalized yet, the additional announcements and screen messages help to maintain overview in the hectic battles. But beware: preparation for the raid does not replace DBM – it is just a valuable aid.

World Quests List
With world quests, there is always something to do on the Broken Isles every day, and the offered tasks change every few hours. WQL lists all available world quests clearly and offers various filter options. For example, you can only display world quests that offer artifact power as a reward. This eliminates the annoying back-and-forth clicking on the entire world map.

Handy Notes
In Legion, there are plenty of hidden treasures, secrets, and events. While the search for them can still be fun on the first run, the disruption increases with the number of alt characters. So that you don’t have to have a friendly reputation every time to buy the corresponding treasure map, you can display all treasures directly on the world map.
