World of Warcraft: Legion is transitioning from Alpha to Beta. We have the exact date for you.
The Beta for World of Warcraft: Legion starts on May 12
The upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft, Legion, has been in closed Alpha testing for several months. Blizzard has now announced that the development of the addon has progressed to the point where it is transitioning from Alpha to Beta.
In the developer livestream, it was revealed today that the Beta for World of Warcraft: Legion will begin on May 12 at 11:00 PM our time.
All participants of the Alpha version are allowed to join this test. New invitations for the Beta will be sent out in the coming days. As usual, there will be multiple waves. Anyone who wants to have a chance to join the Beta should indicate this in their Battle.net account.
For all who were already in the Alpha, this means a reset of the characters – game data will be deleted and all Beta participants must start “fresh” with a level 100 character.
