In the upcoming Patch 6.2 for World of Warcraft (WoW), the legendary questline will come to an end. What you need to do in the final steps on the way to the special ring has been released by Blizzard. Caution: Spoilers ahead.
Last Minute Betrayal
As expected, the final chapter of the questline leads us to the Tanaan Jungle, although initially only in theory. We need to build our dock and master initial missions with the ships. At the same time, Khadgar sends us to the Hellfire Citadel to collect plenty of tomes of chaos. Once the fel-corrupted writings have been gathered, they must be properly burned to permanently eradicate such sinful knowledge.
Unfortunately, Khadgar’s bodyguard Cordana does not cooperate and stabs us in the back: It comes to the final showdown with the night elf guardian. Only when she is defeated can we return and receive a blessing from K’ara (Alliance) or the elements (Horde) and rejoice over a new monument in the garrison.
After this quest, we receive our legendary ring and a new goal: The destruction of Gul’dan.
Patch 6.2 is set to release next week. Whether the storyline of the quest will continue in a possible Patch 6.3 despite the completion of the ring is still unknown.
