The race for the First Kills of Patch 7.2.5 in World of Warcraft is decided. The winner is the guild Method.
In recent months, the race for the World First Kills of World of Warcraft has gained considerable momentum, as the bosses from the Night Hold and the Tomb of Sargeras were quite challenging – at least on the Mythic difficulty level.
Especially the last boss, Kil’Jaeden, had professional guilds struggling for a long time. But now the race is finally over and the guild Method achieves the global First Kill on Kil’Jaeden in Mythic difficulty, according to Buffed.
654 wipes were needed by Method
If you think that it only takes “a little bit” of endurance, you are greatly mistaken. In total, it took 655 attempts to take down the right hand of Sargeras and make it crash down on the planet Argus.
A kill video is not yet available, but it should follow in the coming days. Among professional guilds, there is an “unwritten rule” that they often only publish boss tactics (as seen in kill videos) once several guilds have achieved victory over the boss – although not everyone adheres to this.
Even the members of Method believe that Kil’jaeden was definitely one of the “hardest bosses ever,” as they expressed on Twitter.
