During the journey to Kul Tiras, Jaina is plagued by nightmares. We show you the WoW cinematics.
After the battle for Lordaeron, the Alliance pushes into World of Warcraft to persuade the seafaring nation Kul Tiras to form an alliance once again. Jaina Proudmoore is to serve as a mediator since she hails from Kul Tiras. However, her past creates problems that haunt her even in her sleep.
In Warcraft 3, Jaina handed her father Daelin over to death by granting the Horde access to Theramore. At that time, Jaina thought it was the best idea as she did not see orcs as beasts – unlike her father.
Jaina dreams of her father. During the journey to Kul Tiras, Jaina plans her next steps and hears familiar voices. When she looks into one of the other cabins, she gazes directly into the past. She sees herself and her father, familiar and happy together. But in the next moment, the mood shifts, revealing Jaina’s doubts: After all, she sent her father to his death.
Hostility in Kul Tiras. Shortly thereafter, upon arriving in Kul Tiras, these fears come true. Although Jaina returns submissively, her mother cannot accept that Jaina sent her father to his death and has her thrown into prison – not least propelled by Priscilla Ashvane, who still plays a special role in Tiragarde Sound.
The colleagues at Vanion have also uploaded this cinematic on their YouTube channel:
Jaina’s past is a constant theme. Time and again, Jaina’s past is brought up in the story. Although she is regarded as one of the most powerful sorceresses of Azeroth, she is repeatedly plagued by guilt. Whether she can come to terms with it, you will discover in the course of Battle for Azeroth.
What do you think of the two Alliance cinematics? And how do you like Kul Tiras so far?
