The WoW community has picked up the trail. The secret about the new riddle mount Lucid Nightmare is being uncovered piece by piece.
With World of Warcraft: Legion, Blizzard has for the first time integrated some really long riddles into the game world, which players could ponder for days. Just think about the Cave of Consumption, the secret world boss Kosumoth, or the Thought Worm. All these things were hidden among really long riddles, where players had to travel halfway around the world to discover tiny hints.
With Patch 7.3 Shadows of Argus, there is again a new riddle mount – the Lucid Nightmare.
This black unicorn (actually “Monocorn”) is waiting again at the end of a long series of riddles.
The thousands of players from the “WoW Secret Finding” server of the chat program Discord have long since picked up the trail. Once again, the riddle begins with a small scroll in Dalaran, in the upper level of the shop “Curiosities and more.” As soon as you click on it, you see a purple “brain,” which represents the first hint. Along with it were the words
“It starts with 2104059.”
It doesn’t take long for the brain to lead the players to the next step – Ulduar. For the number combination, when you rearrange the digits, results in 15042009 – or rather the date 04/15/2009. That was the release of the Ulduar raid. At the second boss XT-OO2, there is a secret switch that leads into an underground passage … and reveals new riddles.
