Hunters in World of Warcraft receive more appropriate animations. The differences compared to before are noticeable.
With the expansion Legion, most classes received more sophisticated animations for their abilities and spells along with their artifact weapon. However, for a few classes, there wasn’t enough time, which is why the improved animations were not included in the launch of the game. Blizzard is consistently delivering with the major patches, and new animations are also expected in patch 7.2 “The Tomb of Sargeras”. This time, a renewal of abilities for the Hunter is on the agenda.
The colleagues from mmo-champion have created a video comparing the various animations of the Hunter abilities, making the differences particularly noticeable.
Especially Survival Hunters are likely to be pleased, as they receive more interesting melee attacks. But core abilities like “Barrage” or Multi-Shot now visually look like what the name promises (namely multiple shots at once).
Notably, the Cobra Shot looks different now – it no longer appears as if one is simply shooting a snake at the enemy, but rather a long arrow in the shape of a snake. Much prettier than before.
The new animations go live with patch 7.2. There is no release date yet, but most expect it to be released in early summer.
With patch 7.2, there are also new skins for artifact weapons – obtaining them will be challenging.
