The development team of World of Warcraft has released new information about the upcoming patch 9.1.5. The grind for archived knowledge and adventurer experience is set to be reduced. This particularly benefits returning players and frequent gamers.
What changes are being made? Through a post in the official forum and changes on the PTR of World of Warcraft, some new features for the upcoming patch 9.1.5 have been revealed. These now include:
- rare enemies in Korthia drop relics multiple times daily (previously only once daily)
- a new weekly quest for a large amount of archived knowledge is available when a character reaches Codex level 4 on the account
- an item can be purchased for 10,000 Anima that grants an adventurer of your covenant 5,000 experience points
Additionally, you can find more enemies carrying relics with certain items, and tamed Gromits discover more relics. These new features fit into other changes that make Korthia more beneficial for Twinks.
What benefits do the changes bring? In particular, frequent players and returning entrants benefit from the changes. A high level in the Codex is necessary to enhance the important media of your Soulbind.
Especially if you want to participate in raids or high mythic keystones, this change saves you a lot of time. Those who have not played or farmed much in the last weeks and months can catch up faster. Similarly, second characters can be leveled up more quickly. Even new players can benefit from this.
The same goes for the Anima regulation. Since patch 9.1, there is significantly more Anima and many players do not know what to do with it. Leveling adventurers takes time, but the missions provide good rewards like resources or Soul Ash and Soul Cinders.
With more strong adventurers, it will be easier to complete harder missions, and new followers will no longer languish at low levels for so long. The experts from WoWhead have already calculated that you need 790,000 Anima for an adventurer from levels 1-60 – for all 20 adventurers, 15,800,000 Anima is required.
Patch 9.1.5 brings numerous improvements
What’s included in the new patch: Overall, patch 9.1.5 will be particularly interesting for players with multiple characters. It will be possible to level up through Torghast or freely switch covenants from a certain renown level.
The change to the covenants also helps players who enjoy going into mythic dungeons, raiding, or participating in PvP – or engaging in multiple activities at once. Because often certain covenants are better or worse suited for classes depending on the content. More details can be found in our overview of the covenants from Shadowlands on MeinMMO.
The campaign for each covenant can even be skipped with the upcoming patch. Additionally, restrictions like the AoE cap will disappear, old dungeons will return, and the Legendary system will be slightly revised.
In general, many changes are coming, many of which the community has been wishing for since the Shadowlands beta. Accordingly, many players are looking forward to the update. You can find everything about patch 9.1.5 in our hub:
When will patch 9.1.5 be released? So far, there is no specific date for the release. However, many players assume that patch 9.1.5 will go live at the end of October 2021. This aligns with the fact that more and more information is being released.
The patch could help ease the mood in the community somewhat. It is currently heated due to some decisions made by the development team. Even Cortyn from MeinMMO is having a hard time:
